Project performance monitoring or controlling is the process of controlling the activities, tasks, and deliverables, and all other points of the project, in other words, everything that could jeopardize the project. Within this process, all successfully achieved work is recorded.
In case any of the project activities, tasks, or other points are not in line with the project plan, then during the project performance monitoring, all available records of that activity should be considered: the impact, the potential alternative solutions found in co-operation with the third parties, and of the mid and final decisions made in order to tackle the issue.
