Topic 3 Steps for the composition of a concept note

1.TITLE CREATION: short, understandable, informative and discreet

2.BACKGROUND RECORD: what has already been done concerning the subject of the proposal by the organisation  requesting funding (in case that a successful collaboration in terms of a new project).

3.TANGIBLE GOALS CONSTITUTION: the partial objectives of the proposal should be linked to the broader strategy and policy of the organisation.

4.EXPECTED RESULTS: should be directly related to the objectives (they are usually tangible objects, such as publication of information material or events).

  1. ACTIVITIES AND DURATION:
  • a summary of the planned activities set to achieve the project objectives
  • statement of a specific timetable for the implementation of the project
  1. BENEFICIARIES AND BENEFITS:

Analysis of the reciprocal expected benefits (quantitatively and qualitatively), time-schedule reference (time-related assignments/ allocation), influence and impact measurement of the funding plan, ideas/ suggestions on how and by whom the expected benefits will be assessed.
